		2020 K리그2(2부) 감독상을 받은 제주 유나이티드 남기일 감독이 미디어 점수에서 몰표에 가까운 득표로 타이틀을 따냈다고 알려졌다. 한국프로축구연맹은 1일 오전 11시 서울 광화문 신문로 축구회관 2층 기자실에서 연맹 12월 1주차 브리핑에서 하나원큐 K리그2 개인상 투표 결과(득표 수 및 환산 점수)를 터키1부리그중계 공개했다. 이에 따르면 이번 시즌 제주를 다이렉트 승격시킨 남 감독은 감독과 주장 선수에게 할당된 18표 중 4표를 얻는데 그쳤으나, 미디어 투표 75표 중 56표를 받아 막바지에 역전했다. 연맹의 설명에 따르면 먼저 진행된 감독, 선수 투표만 하더라도 수원 FC의 김도균 감독이 18표 중 10표를 얻어 남 감독과 서울 이랜드의 정정용 감독을 크게 앞서고 있어 이번 시즌 감독상이 유력시됐다. 그러나 미디어 투표에서 남 감독이 네덜란드2부리그중계 역전했다. 남 감독은 미디어에 배분된 총점의 75%가량을 얻어 최종 점수 41.87점으로 김 감독을 따돌렸다. 김 감독은 34.27점을 기록했다. 이번 시즌 K리그2 개인상 투표는 감독, 주장 선수, 미디어 세 파트에 각각 30%, 30%, 40%의 가중치가 적용된 합산 결과로 순위가 정해진다. 이에 따라 남 감독은 감독과 선수 점수에서 각각 3점과 9점에 그쳤지만 미디어 점수에서 29.87점을 얻어 극적으로 역전했다. 김 감독은 감독(18점)과 선수(12점) 부문에서 높은 a매치중계 지지를 얻었지만, 미디어 점수에서 4.27점으로 남 감독에게 크게 뒤져 2위에 머물렀다. 한편, 전체 3위 정 감독은 14.87점(감독 6점, 선수 3점, 미디어 5.87점), 전남 드래곤즈의 전경준 감독은 9점(감독 3점, 선수 6점, 미디어 0점)을 얻었다.
